There are congenital and acquired disabilities, and there are physical and capability discrepancies that arise as one grows older. The system of society cannot yet accommodate these various differences. We want to create a society where people can effortlessly enjoy their days while maintaining their individuality, and we also want to get rid of the barriers associated with these differences.
For example, consider someone who cannot hear
but wants to play a musical instrument.
Or consider someone who wants to be told directions
by sound instead of seeing them with his or her eyes,
or someone who wants to go anywhere in a wheelchair.
Trying to solve a problem by yourself involves a lot of work.
That is why it is necessary to create a system
to solve problems quickly by combining existing products, services, data, and AI.
We are currently moving forward with projects using platforms like the ones below.

Imaging technology (in progress)
In order to realize research and development as well as social implementation,
we aim to industrialize the project by organizing a joint research team
consisting of young members excelling in specialized fields with a base of industry-university collaboration.
Co-creation with users is essential for this project.
We would like to have people dealing with diverse problems participate,
and we want to promote practical research
while learning about the actual circumstances and opinions of the participants.
We are also hoping for participation in the form of sharing of data and APIs
that have accumulated within industry.
